Meet Sign-up Info

The Meet Sign-up book is now available at the coach's table inside the gate at the start of practices.  Please use it and keep it moving or stationary near the gate outside.

The Black Binder (new) is divided into a girls' section and boys' section, then by age-group and then alphabetically.

Please sign-up as early as possible for the meets that your child will participate and select their chosen strokes.  Cross out meets that you know your child will not participate in.

• Individual events are limited to 3 per meet per swimmer
• Check relay "yes" or "no" if your young child has a preference
• Generally, older kids are assumed to be willing to swim relays
• Also, a swimmer has to have a qualifying (non-DQ'd) time in an event during the season in order to swim that event at Champs.  As an example: your child loves the breaststroke however DQ's during in-season meets but wants to swim breaststroke at Champs after correcting their technique problem. He/she will not be allowed to swim that event at Champs.  Encourage your swimmer to try different strokes early in the season and get a qualifying time.

The process is for me to enter the entries into the computer and submit to the host team by Thursday by 2pm.  Usually by Wednesday night late I will send out the entries to GHWO via the yahoo group and publish to our website.  This is labeled as draft.  This is your opportunity to correct any entry mistakes.  Please confer with your kids and/or coaches about which events your child is ready to swim.
